For those of you who have followed me for a while will know that I love to read. I find reading so good for the soul. Switching me off from everyday’s stresses and helping me to turn off from social media and scrolling endlessly through Instagram! I thought I would share with you my first ‘to read’ list of 2019. There is a mix of both Fiction & Non Fiction books. I love a book recommendation so I hope you enjoy reading my post – if anyone has read any I would love to hear what your thought. I will include a picture of each and a link to Amazon where can find all the & the back blurb about each one.
- Let me Lie by Claire Mackintosh – I’m actually going to start with this one. I’m partial to a good thriller at the moment!
- The Tattooist of Auschwitz – Heather Morris– This book is actually a little out of my comfort zone but I have heard so many great things I thought I would give it a try.
- An Unwanted Guest – Shari Lapena– The Author of ‘A Couple Next Door’ – enough said!
- The Women in the Window – A J Finn – Another thriller which keeps popping up on my Amazon recommendations!
- Nine Perfect Strangers – Liane Moriarty – Loved ‘Big Little Lies’ so had to add this to the list!
- Quiet – Fearne Cotton – ‘Silencing the brain chatter and believing that you’re good enough’. This year I have decided to focus more on self care – I love Fearne’s other books so thought this one would be good to read. I most defiantly can relate to my brain always feeling busy & not feeling good enough.
- Watching You – Lisa Jewell – The Last Lisa Jewell book I read was fantastic so when I saw this new release I knew I wanted to read it.
- Believe Me – JP Delaney – Again, I really enjoyed the last book I read by this author – another thriller!
- Eve of Man – The Fletchers – I follow Giovanna on Instagram and think The Fletcher’s seem such a lovely, genuine family. When I saw both authors had pulled together to write a book it was always going in my basket!
- How Not To Wear Black – Anna Murphy (This book was kindly gifted to me from DK Books) I am in a total wardrobe rut at the moment so as soon as this book dropped in my door I was super excited! I cant wait to read it and hope that it does help me re-find my style!
So many great recommendations! I need to get my head back into reading.
